Community & Connection

Learning, sharing, and showing up together in the world

Lilly’s Safe Haven believes that education and connection do not only happen within the sanctuary. They happen in shared spaces, in conversations, and in moments where people meet the animals themselves.

These gatherings are not performances or demonstrations. They are opportunities to learn, to listen, and to see animals as individuals with personality, presence, and purpose.

Russell Sprout often joins these experiences, helping people see chickens in a completely different way; curious, social, intelligent, and deeply expressive.

Some events focus on education and outreach. Others involve advocacy, community engagement, or simply spending time with animals in shared environments.

Each one is guided by the same core belief; that awareness leads to compassion, and compassion leads to change.

If you feel called to attend, participate, or learn more, upcoming gatherings are listed below.
